Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee marked an unprecedented 70 years on the throne, a milestone unmatched by any previous British monarch. Admired across the world, Her Majesty’s reign has been defined by stability, service and an enduring connection with the public.
One of the most recognisable emblems of her reign is the Diamond Diadem. Worn by monarchs since the 18th century, the diadem became closely associated with Queen Elizabeth II, appearing in many official portraits throughout her lifetime.
To honour this historic Jubilee, the Royal Canadian Mint has issued a $20 pure silver coin featuring a detailed depiction of the Diamond Diadem, enhanced with sparkling Swarovski crystals. Designed by artist Jori Van der Linde, the coin also includes a serrated edge finish.
The coin is presented in a black clamshell display box, offering a refined way to protect and showcase this commemorative release.
