A glitch in a game that was a result of King Candy’s efforts to delete her, Vanellope was barred from ever racing again due to the untrue fear that she would break the game and cause havoc to residents around her. Really King Candy knew the truth, if she was to race again and win her real self would be restored, enabling her to take her rightful place as top of the leaderboard and the most talented racer in Sugar Rush. With the checkered flag in sight, she races again and puts and end to rejection.
