Dedicated to one of the most recognisable dinosaurs of all, the latest design features the legendary Diplodocus in all its long-necked glory. A truly iconic specimen, Diplodocus was one of the longest dinosaurs to exist and has been a common sight in literature, TV and film for more than 100 years.
Designed by palaeo-artist Robert Nicholls, with guidance from Professor Paul Barrett of the Natural History Museum, this coin features the sizeable sauropod on full display, from its winding neck to its twisting tail, accompanied by the Diplodocus skeleton in the foreground.
