These historical 5 and 10 Rubles banknotes originate from the time of the Russian tsars.
In 1909, these banknotes were printed and issued for the first time. The front sides and back sides show the head of a Siberian tiger with a sword and a club as well as guilloche patterns and the national coat of arms.
Unusually, the banknotes were printed in vertical format.
