One of the most recognisable vessels in the history of cinema, few big screen spacecrafts can boast the legendary status of ‘the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy’.
This is the first time a design inspired by the Millennium Falcon has featured on UK coins, and is the first release in a new four-coin collection inspired by the most iconic spacecraft in the Star Wars franchise.
The Millennium Falcon 2024 UK 50p Coin features a detailed image of the Corellian light freighter just as it appeared in the original trilogy as well as a unique lenticular feature depicting both the Rebel Alliance ‘Starbird’ logo and an icon of the Millennium Falcon itself.
