Depicted quite beautifully on the reverse of this coin, and a design that accentuates the fact this coin is the first 50p to commemorate a royal event, is the inclusion of a strong graphic image including the number 70. A particularly significant feature to this side of the coin, is the inscription of the dates 1952 and 2022 highlighting the Queen’s unforgettable reign.
Featured on the obverse of this Special Coin is John Bergdahl’s unique illustration of a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen on Horseback – this design is reminiscent of previous jubilee designs.
