Alexander Graham Bell 2022 UK £2 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin

Known most famously for his invention of the popular modern communications device, the telephone, the Scottish-born Alexander Graham Bell is one of the most renowned inventors to have ever lived. Having conducted the first known successful telephone transmission in 1876, Alexander initiated a technological development that has gone on to be developed by world-class experts of the technological world in the 20th and 21st centuries. 
With this year marking 100 years since his passing, The Royal Mint is extremely proud to introduce this Brilliant Uncirculated £2 coin showcasing the work of the famous inventor with a reverse design that portrays the dial of a push-button phone, accompanied by the words ‘Pioneer Of The Telephone’.
