This historical collection consists of 12 German coins as well as two stamps from the time of the Third Reich. Following the takeover of power by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis in the year 1933, the newly-minted coins reflected the Nazi ideology through representations of the imperial eagle and the swastika. A special feature of this collection is portrayed by the 2 and 5 Reichsmark silver coins, which depict the portrait of the President of the Reich Paul von Hindenburg. This historically meaningful coin collection is complemented by two stamps from the period of the Third Reich, which feature both of the portraits of Adolf Hitler as well as von Hindenburg.
