Canada 150th Anniversary Complete Coin Collection 2017

To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Canadian Confederation, the Royal Canadian Mint hosted a national competition to create new designs for Canada’s five circulated coins within five categories: Our Wonders, Our Character, Our Achievements, Our Passions, and Canada’s Future.

This uncirculated coin set is the complete special edition collection for the 150th anniversary featuring all of the winning designs. The designs include a beaver, maple leaf, the northern lights and iconic buildings and structures.

The obverses are adorned with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

The 1 Dollar coin is dodecahedral and the 2 Dollars coin is a bimetallic coin.
