Deep in the savannah, King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi have just welcomed their newborn son, Simba, into the world. Scar plots to take the throne for himself by leading Mufasa to his death and deserting Simba alone in the desert. Simba grows up with his new friends Timon and Pumba and one day is finally reunited with his childhood sweetheart Nala, who tells him of the horror under Scars ruling. He soon realises that he needs to protect his Father’s legacy and reclaim the throne as his own, exiling Scar forever.
